Item Details
An original oil painting on board by listed American artist Frank Whipple (California, 1923 – 2016), titled Still Life 2 Pears. The painting depicts two photorealistic pears cast in dramatic light on a tabletop in front of an ambiguous dark background. The painting is signed in black to the lower right. It is presented in a wooden frame with cast surface embellishments, seamless corners, and antiqued gold tone and pickled finishes.
