A signed limited edition etching and color aquatint by well-listed British pop artist Joe Tilson (b.1928) best known for his sculptures, paintings, and prints featuring very intriguing designs, often with bright, vibrant color palettes. This is a version of the ‘Earth Earth’ series. The work is in a hexagonal shape and has a repeating grid of diamond shapes with the letters to spell out earth to each in terra cotta and gray. It is numbered 56/60 to the lower left corner in pencil. It is signed by the artist and dated 1980 in pencil to the lower right corner. The work is presented in a silver tone metal frame and under plexiglass.
