An oil painting on canvas of travelers by P. Douglas. This painting depicts three travelers watching as a group of people depart on boat into a sprawling landscape off in the background. An artist signature can be seen to the lower left corner of the composition in orange. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded patterning across the border and hanging wire to the verso.

- small piece of tape visible to top center edge at frame line; abrasion to surface of frame; slight yellowing to varnish.
