A signed artist proof screenprint with woodblock titled Conjunction, Swallowtail, Sesso by well-listed British pop artist Joe Tilson (b.1928) best known for his sculptures, paintings, and prints featuring very intriguing designs, often with bright, vibrant color palettes. The work has the letters SASSO and an image of a butterfly to the center painted in yellow and red on a green rectangle surrounded by a field of red and blue squares on white paint spattered paper. It is numbered AP 1/45 to the lower left corner in pencil and is signed by the artist and dated 1996 in pencil to the lower right corner. The work is presented in a silver tone metal frame and under plexi-glass.
