A signed 1888 offset lithograph poster for the 10th Anniversary of the New York is Book Country festival, illustrated and signed by very well-listed American author and illustrator Maurice Sendak (1928 – 2012). The poster depicts a character from Sendak’s famed Where the Wild Things Are tromping through the streets of New York reading a book as the city’s multitude of bookstores surround him.
