Eugene Pechaubes Hand-Colored Lithographs
Item Details
A collection of two lithographs embellished with gouache and watercolor on paper by Eugene Pechaubes (1890 – 1967). Included in this collection is II Empire Garde Imperiale, Officer de Dragons which depicts an officer in uniform with sword drawn while riding horsback. This piece is signed in plate and by hand to the lower left corner and is presented behind a green mat under glass in a wood frame. Also included is Napoleon en 1812 which depicts Napoleon Bonaparte wearing a uniform and a winter cloak and riding horsback. This piece is signed in plate and by hand to the lower left corner and is presented behind a grey mat under glass in a wood composite frame.
Condition
- some toning to images; some small stains; shows wear to frame finishes.
