An original Tuska (1931-1998) ink wash painting. The piece depicts a nude male curled over his knees with his head tucked in. The piece is created with simple strokes and uses darker and thicker lines to create shadow. An internationally acclaimed artist, Tuska is known for his painterly depictions of nudes via sculptures, paintings, and reliefs which are highly sought after. His work expresses the influence of the late Impressionist movement of French artist Rodin. The piece is signed in pencil to the lower right.
