Group of Franklin Porcelain Hunting Tankard Steins
Item Details
A group of two porcelain tankard steins by Franklin Porcelain. Included is a tankard with a pewter tone top and pinecone finial with an image of a pheasant along the exterior. The piece is marked ‘Franklin Porcelain The Game Bird Stein’ and ‘Limited Edition Fine Porcelain by Haviland of Limoges 1981 FP’ to the underside. Also included is a stein with a pewter tone top and a scene of a medieval hunting party along the exterior. The piece is marked ‘Franklin Porzellan Fasanenjagd im Mittelalter – Sammlerkrug’ to the underside, which translate from the German as ‘Franklin Porcelain Pheasant Hunting in the Middle Ages Collector’s Pitcher.’
