Sterling Silver Demitasse Spoons Featuring Gorham and Frank M. Whiting

A collection of sterling silver demitasse spoons. This includes a spoon with a bowl personalized ‘Lyda-Florence’, a twisting stem, and a floral die-pressed handle that is stamped on the back with three worn irregularly shaped cartouche possibly for Joseph Seymour. These are accompanied by a pair of spoons with foliate handles by the Gorham Manufacturing Company that are initialed ‘L’ on the back and marked either ‘23’ or ‘28’. Also included is a spoon by the Frank M. Whiting Company with a gold washed bowl and flower handle marked ‘Lulu’ on the back, and a scrolling handled spoon, monogrammed ‘Lulu’. Each of the five spoons is marked ‘sterling’. The total approximate weight is 1.24 ozt.
