An oil painting on canvas of a moonlight scene by listed artist Mary King (1899 – 1991). This painting depicts a calm lake rendered in cool hues highlighted by the full moon above, which casts the rest of the scene in soft silhouette. An artist signature is seen to the lower right corner of the composition in white.The canvas is placed over a wooden stretcher and placed in a gold tone wooden frame with sculpted resin details in a Baroque style.
