An original pastel drawing on wooden panel of grasslands by listed artist Elizabeth Mowry (b. 1940). This drawing depicts flowering grasslands in the foreground sitting on the edge of a river while snow covered mountains cover the background. The piece is signed by hand in pastel to the lower right corner of the main image. Mounted under a single layer of white matting, the drawing is presented under glass in a gold tone wood frame with hanging wire present to verso. Mowry is a Master Pastelist in the Pastel Society of America and is an instructor at the Woodstock School of Art in Woodstock, New York.
