Limited Edition CH. Field Haviland Limoges Collector's Plates
Item Details
A pair of limited edition CH. Field Haviland Limoges collector’s plates. The first plate titled La Chasse à la Licorne which translates to The Hunt of the Unicorn is from 1975 (No. 5) depicts a battle scene of men and dogs hunting the white unicorn. The second plate titled La Dame à la Licorne which translates to The Lady and the Unicorn is from 1978 (No. 2) portrays a beautiful woman with her unicorn at her side along with another mythological creature among trees and woodland creatures. The plates are by Robert Haviland and C. Parlon. The plates are marked to the underside and are presented new in the original packaging.
