A framed mirror with antique fabric samples. The embroidery samples are parts of a circa 1860 groom’s wrapping cloth from İzmir, Turkey. In delicate metallic thread, the narrow embroideries each depict the Tree of Life, representing a happy and healthy long life. These are mounted flanking a sqaure mirror in a red velvet mat with gold detailing, presented under acrylic glass within a gold tone foliate wooden frame, wired for hanging. A label from Cesni Turkish Handicraft is attached on verso.

- slight scratch on glass near bottom left corner of mirror.
