A mid 20th century wood and rush couples bench. The wood bench has a maple finish and features a double seat ladder back with a floral carved and ebonized crest rail and slats. Other features include curved arms and slanted hand supports, a rectangular shaped seat with rush weaving in a natural finish. The bench also has a carved and ebonized apron with scalloped edges, a box style frame and cabriole legs with ebonized decorative knees and scrolled feet.
