Roman Armor Movie Prop from 1959 "Ben Hur"

Item Details

A set of replica Ancient Roman armour used in the 1959 chariot race epic Ben Hur. This two piece set includes an Imperial legionary galea helmet with a red plume crest with neck and face guards. The torso armor includes shoulder plates above curving segmented band up and over the upper chest that are attached to horizontally stacked bands across the middle. Chains are attached on the back for closure, and a protective sponge is evident below one shoulder band.

Condition

- some dents and discoloration to the metal.
