An antique secretary desk with bookcase. This mahogany piece with rectangular top features a leaf and scroll carved pediment with beaded trim over two cabinet doors with glass panels and beaded trim work opening to three shelves. The bookcase sits atop a single drawer with scalloped trim and two knob handles that pulls out to additional drawers and storage space with green felt lined writing surface when drawer front is pulled down. The remainder of this piece features two paneled cabinet doors opening to two shelves over a scalloped apron terminating on bracket feet. There are no visible maker’s marks or labels on this piece.
