Ridvan Hand-Painted Turkish Tile With Islamic Prayer
Item Details
A hand-painted ceramic tile by Turkish artist Ridvan. This Turkish folk art tile depicts stylized Arabic script representing Ayat an-Naml 27:30 and a carnation flower on a brown field with brackets at the corners.The tile is signed to the lower right and is presented on taupe mounting board with turquoise liner and cream mat surround, under glass in a carved and beveled gold tone frame. There is a sticker to the verso which reads ‘Turkuaz, Turkish Handicraft Arts’ and a string for display.

- some small scratches to the frame.
