A limited edition serigraph after an original painting by American artist Robert Schaar (1933-). Titled Portofino Vista this depicts a stretch of the Genoa coastline, with vibrantly colored tall houses, against a forested hill before the blue water. It is bordered by a scrollwork iron trellis and balustrade, with blossoming flowers in the foreground. It is signed in pencil ‘Schaar’ in the bottom right corner, and numbered 439 out of an edition of 475. This work is presented double matted in white, under glass, in a painted frame wired for hanging. It is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity dated to 1999 from Princess Cruises.
