A giclée print by C. Jean after an original circa 1742 painting titled Diana Leaving Her Bath by François Boucher (French, 1702-1770). This depicts the nude goddess of the hunt Diana beside a shallow pool, seated upon layered rich cloth. Her hunting dogs, arrows and bows are at rest, as she is assisted by a nymph. It is hand signed in the bottom right corner in black ‘C.Jean’. This work is presented in a gold tone frame with foliate ornamentation and a linen lined inner border, wired for hanging.
