A collection of hand-colored engravings on paper by C.R. Stock. Included are three prints, all engraved by Stock, after T.N.H. Walsh’s The Pet of the Stable and Old Times, Changing Horses and after F. Watson’s The Old Berkeley Hunt (West). Each print features an embossed border plate mark with inscriptions in the lower margins denoting artist, publisher, and title. Unframed.
Condition
- red stain present to The Pet of the Stable; pencil inscription to lower right margin; edgewear with some tears; some discoloration spotting and color fading; pages warping around border.
