An original oil painting on board by listed contemporary Australian artist Donald Fraser (active 1980-90s). Fraser also paints under the pseudonym Stephen Tandori, primarily creating floral still life pieces. Typical of Fraser’s body of work, this painting depicts several figures in bright bathing suits lounging on a peaceful sandy beach as rocky bluffs rise in the distance. The painting is signed in ink to the lower left. It is presented in a wooden frame with antiqued ivory and blue finishes and a hanging wire.
