A pair of hand-colored engravings after original portraits of Napoleon. Included is an engraving by T.W. Huffam after Gros’ Napoleon at the Battle of the Pyramids and an engraving by Leney after Isabey’s Napoleon’s Malmaison. Both prints show an embossed plate mark and Napoleon’s Malmaison has been mounted in a matte finish.
Condition
- smudges visible on prints; pencil inscription to lower right margin; edgewear; some discoloration spotting; matte is loose.
