Antique Victorian Glass Front Bookcase

Item Details

A Victorian glass front bookcase. This walnut piece with a hand carved top rail features scroll and vine motifs and has winged lions to the sides. The frieze features hand carved leaf and berry accent with twist style partial pilasters to the side. There are two sliding glass doors to the front with the interior divided in two sections featuring four shelves per section. The sliding glass doors feature modern locks but no key is present. The apron features an applied carved scrolling floral design at the center and terminates on casters. There are no visible maker’s marks or labels on this piece.
