Thia S. Abstract Oil on Canvas "The Gathering"
Item Details
An abstract oil on canvas titled The Gathering by Thia S. This depicts small black figures in a large group in the lower right, and more dispersed across the abstracted teal and gray landscape with lines ‘drawn’ from scrapings of a palette knife upon the worked surface. The front is unsigned. This work is presented in a wooden shadowbox frame wired for hanging. It is titled and signed what appears to read ‘Thia Sacler’ on the back of the stretcher, however no clear artist attribution could be made.
Condition
- back of canvas shows some grooves along lines of painting; edges of canvas taped. (ARTIAS)
