A copy of the limited edition Trimalchio: A Facsimile Edition of The Original Gallery Proofs For The Great Gatsby. This piece comes in an ocean blue container and features gallery proofs of the rough draft of the novel Trimalchio by F. Scott Fitzgerald and how it slowly was edited and retitled into The Great Gatsby which is now considered one of the greatest works in American literature. Included with the proof gallery is an afterword by Matthew J. Bruccoli who was an English professor at the University of South Carolina, which co-published this gallery with the Thomas Cooper Library in 2000. This piece is part of a limited production run and is number fifty-four of 500 produced.
