Ornate Chess Set
Item Details
An ornate chess set. This chess set features a raised rectangular playing board with molded panels depicting a battlefield framed by dark stained brown resin. The board is presented with tan and blue stone-like squares with motifs etched at the center and is encompassed by a border of a raised geometric scrolling array. The chess set includes 32 playing pieces which are molded after 19th Century soldiers, the tan representing American soldiers and the dark blue representing Spanish soldiers. The board and pieces are comprised of epoxy resin and include two concealed storage drawers.
Condition
- minor marks and chips; one white chess piece broke in half and was repaired.
