Vintage Cream and White Furniture Including Lane

A group of vintage cream and white furniture including Lane. This lot is made up of five items. There is a pair of end tables, a mirror-backed shelf, a luggage rack, and a Lane cedar chest. The end tables feature single drawers lined with newspaper ads, metal hardware, fruit-themed stencils, and turned legs that are connected by a bottom shelf. The white luggage rack has three yellow and white support straps. The mirror features three shelves, and the frame has acanthus leaf and shell motifs. There are brackets on the back for hanging purposes and it is marked ‘Turner Wall Accessory’. The trunk has an interior made from cedar, gilding and bosses, gold tone hardware, and turned legs. The trunk is stamped ‘Lane Altavista, Va’ on the inside.

Condition

- to fair; all show signs of age from use; faint markings throughout; overall good condition; water ring on the bottom of the tier on one end table; some of the paint may not be original.
