19th Century Bazar du Voyage Wood Trunk with Brass Details

A fantastic mid 19th century Bazar du Voyage trunk with brass corners, handles and lock, with likely ties to Italian nobility. The simple, rectangular trunk is made of hardwood, with a medium stain and aged patina. There are brass corner protectors with single slot screws to all corners, and brass handles on the sides. The front is fitted with a lock marked ‘Bazar de Voyage 25 Rue de la Pak’, and the top is of the lid is fitted with a brass plate, engraved with ‘Marquis de San Marzano’.
