An original Tuska (1931-1998) clay bust sculpture. An internationally acclaimed artist, Tuska is known for his painterly depictions of nudes via sculptures, paintings, and reliefs which are highly sought after. His work expresses the influence of the late Impressionist movement of French artist Rodin. The sculpture features a hooded figure with only the facial features well defined. The piece was inspired by one of his favorite models Teresa. The piece is signed by Tuska in the clay and dated 1972 with the piece title above.

Condition

The piece has some imperfections and some cracking in places, the stand is loose
