Framed 19th Century Turkish Silk Prayer Rug

A framed 19th century Turkish silk prayer rug. The rug features tree medallion to the center in a palette of taupe, cream, indigo and yellow that sits on a deep blue field. The field is enclosed in a border that features floral palmettes in a matching tone. The rug has been mounted and glued to a board then presented in a gold tone wooden frame. The frame offers a wire to the verso.
