An original Tuska (1931-1998) paper mâché relief sculpture Study for Illumine. The piece depicts a stylized male torso with his hands on his hips. The Kentucky based artist was an educator at the University of Kentucky, which commissioned him to produce the bronze figure sculptures Illumine.This three-dimensional piece was used as a basis for the bronze final pieces and is signed in pencil on the arm by Tuska. The piece is presented in a black wooden frame with a hook on the back for hanging.

Condition

The piece has a design with uneven edges and shows some wear, the framing has some chips
