Item Details
A pair of reproduction etchings of influential London portraiture. Featured in this selection are portraits of William Cecil, the baron of Burleigh, and John Pym, who was a part of the English Parliament. The etched renderings are contained in a circular frame marked with their corresponding name, which is surrounded by animals and babies who sit either holding lightning bolts or a medicine staff adorned with two snakes. An inscription denoting subject, artist, and medium are seen to the lower margins. Presented in a mat with a solid gray and gold tone border without a frame.

- pencil inscription to lower right corner of print; prints affixed to mat with tape on edges; mat worn.
