A offset lithograph after Norman Rockwell’s (1894-1978) original painting titled At the Doctor’s. Also referred to as Before the Shot / A Study For the Doctor’s Office, this work was printed as the cover illustration for The Saturday Evening Post on March 15, 1958. The humorous American genre scene features a young boy preparing for a shot at the doctor’s office. The boy stands on a chair staring at a print hanging on the wall, while the doctor gets the shot ready. The title and date of the The Saturday Evening Post publication are printed in the center of lower margin. The print is presented under glass in a gold-tone wood frame with a low-relief pattern and white matting.
