Antique Brass Face Weight Scale
Item Details
An antique brass face weight scale distributed by J.M. & L.A. Osborn catalog company in Cleveland, Ohio which specialized in metals during the early 1900s. This scale has a black metal base and body with a transfer image on both sides picturing a man in simple clothing carrying the American flag. The weight resting platform is an open circular metal disk with a six petal floral pattern to the center. The brass scale front is etched in two ounce increments with numerals marking every two pounds. A J.M. & L.A. Osborn brass marketing plate is affixed to the front below the scale face.
Condition
Used. Old. Condition consistent with use and age. Scale works but weight accuracy not guaranteed.
