1960's Royal Cathay Teak Chinese Horseshoe Chairs
Item Details
A pair of 1960’s Chinese horseshoe back chairs in teak made by Royal Cathay in San Fransisco, California. The low-slung chairs are wood with an ebony finish and have sweeping crest rails terminating in out swept scrolled grips with a carved center splat and generous solid seats. The squared legs end in a slightly turned under foot with pierced spandrels at the corners. Each chair has a fitted cushion upholstered in gold velvet. The original Royal Cathay booklet advertising the chairs as item E26 is included.
