An oil painting on canvas by Ted Sizemore, titled Friday’s Child. This original painting is the cover to Georgette Heyer’s Friday’s Child, which was published by Harper Collins Regency in 1944. It depicts two characters from the book window shopping outside a corner store. The artist’s initial is seen to the lower left in crimson paint. To the right edge of the canvas is an affixed piece of masking tape with a written book title, publisher and artist in black marker. The painting is presented in a moulded gold tone frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- edges of painting not covered by frame; tape with painting information seen to right edge; some scratches to frame; some stray hair on back of canvas.
