Item Details
An original still life oil painting on canvas by listed Swiss artist Heinrich Garossa (1902-). The untitled piece depicts a vase overflowing with a variety of lush, colorful flowers, presented against a field of dark green, seemingly illuminated from the lower right corner. The painting utilizes hues of red, green, white, pink, yellow and blue. It is signed to the lower right in yellow paint, “Garossa”. The piece is presented without glass in a beveled wooden frame with wire to the back for hanging.
Condition
- minor scratches and abrasions to finish of frame; canvas has been relined; markings to verso of canvas; no backing paper to frame.
