Antique Seth Thomas Wall Pendulum Clock

Item Details

A circa 1900 Seth Thomas #2 wall clock in a Walnut cabinet, circa 1900. The popular wall clock was manufactured by Seth Thomas from the 1860’s through 1950 in several types of wood with very little else changed. Known as being a good running and accurate time keeper, the clock was used in many railway stations and offices for that reason alone. The clock’s dial has Roman numerals and is weight driven with a single weight and brass pendulum. The Walnut case has simple but handsome detailing at the base. There is the original label that remains affixed at the inside of the bottom of the cabinet.
