Byzantine Empite Justin II Follis
Item Details
A Byzantine Empire Justin II and Sophia bronze half follis. This Justinian coin dates back to the Byzantine Empire (565-578AD). It is a Nicomedia mint. The obverse depicts Justin II seated to the left and Sophia seated on the right. The reverse depicts a large “M” and “ANNO” to the left with a cross above, the regnal year to the right and official letter below. The coin is encased in a paper a plastic cover.
