An original watercolor on paper by listed Ohio artist Robert Herrmann (1922 – 1996) depicting an architectural scene in the artist’s signature precisionism style with slivers of tall buildings against a pale blue sky. The watercolor is initialed in the lower right corner and presented in white matting then wrapped in acetate.
Robert Herrmann acquired his formal artistic and architectural training at the University of Cincinnati, University of Wisconsin, Ohio State University, University of Iowa, and Columbia University. While professionally trained, he chose to never exhibit his work publicly, making his first solo exhibit posthumous.
