A watercolor on paper titled Fast Watercolor in Phoenix by listed Ohio artist Robert Herrmann (1922 – 1996), created in 1970. The painting depicts a view out a window of a green valley with mountains in the distance. It is signed, titled, and dated to the lower right. Presented in white matting and wrapped in acetate.

Herrmann acquired his formal artistic and architectural training at the University of Cincinnati, University of Wisconsin, Ohio State University, University of Iowa, and Columbia University. While professionally trained, he chose to never exhibit his work publicly, making his first solo exhibit posthumous.
