A watercolor painting on paper by listed artist Edgar Yaeger (American; 1904-1997), titled No Trespassing. The painting depicts a fence on the edge of a body of water rendered with subtle brushstrokes and vibrant hues. The piece is unsigned and is presented matted and wrapped in acetate.

Known for his modern abstract style and his WPA murals of the Depression era, Yaeger was influenced by European modernists such as Paul Cézanne, Pablo Picasso and Giorgio de Chirico. Yaeger’s work has been exhibited at many institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, the Corcoran Gallery, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, among others.
