Pastel on paper
A pair of pastel drawings of paper by Murat Kaboulov (1939 – 2010). Each depicts a female nude relicing on her side, one from the front with a book before her, and the other from behind. Each is signed below ‘M. Kaboulov’, and one is additionally dated to ‘010’. These works are presented unframed and unmounted.
Russian-born artist Kaboulov studied at the prestigious Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia in the studio of Prof. E Moiseyenko and moved to Brentwood, Tennessee in 1992. Condition
- work on gray paper has creases to right and lower sides, stains to lower left; work on tan paper shows minor wear to the edges.
