B. Hughes Oil on Board "Champagne Valley"
Item Details
An oil on board painting titled Champagne Valley. This depicts a meandering river with green banks, flowing through an autumn landscape with brown fields leading to an impressionistic suggestion of a village. It is signed ‘B.Hughes’ in the bottom right corner in red, however no clear artist attribution could be made. This painting is presented in a molded wooden frame; a wire is attached to the verso, but for a different orientation.
Condition
- board is very loose in the frame, currently attached only by tape; small scratch on board to lower right. (ARTIAS)
