Item Details

A 1970s Taiwanese original ink and watercolor scroll. The piece depicts lush, colorful peonies in hues of purple, red, yellow, pink and fuschia. The horizontal scroll is signed in black ink and red seals to the upper left corner. It is presented bordered in gold tone silk. A typed sticker to the lower left corner reads ‘To: COL & Mrs. McLain, Theresa Liu, Taipei, Taiwan, 1978’.

- to Fair; scroll has been stored unframed and rolled; some creases to scroll; several stains to painting.
