Luigi Lucioni Limited Edition Etching of Birch Trees
Item Details
A limited edition etching on paper by listed Italian-American artist Luigi Lucioni (1900-1988). The monochromatic piece depicts a grove of birch trees, their trunks winding gracefully upward. The piece is signed in graphite to the lower right margin and numbered 29/250 to the lower left. The print is matted in off-white and presented under glass in a wooden frame with wire to the back for hanging. - to Poor; water damage to print, mat, frame and frame’s paper backing, especially to the lower half; rippling to print under glass; areas of foxing and discoloration to lower half of print; wrinkling to mat, especially to the lower portion; foxing and discoloration to edges of mat; acid burn to top of mat; scratching to finish of frame; perimeter tears and discoloration to lower half of frame’s paper backing.
