Item Details

An original encaustic painting on canvas on masonite by Timothy Leslie, dated 2007. This depicts an abstracted bowl with curving petals and stamen created from carved and applied wax, dyed and painted in mottled shades of yellows, purples, and blues. It is initialed ‘TL’ and dated ‘07’ in the bottom right corner. This work is mounted to a wooden stretcher with a sawtooth hanging hardware attached on verso.
