Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by Shuman of an abstract composition. This painting depicts an abstracted scene, rendered in a Cubist manner, composed of various colored shapes and a prominent LIFE magazine folded on a yellow surface. An artist signature is seen to the lower right corner. The canvas is placed over a wooden stretcher in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- connections on frame loose; crushed impasto toward center; a few small spots of paint have worn away.
