Limited Edition Hand Colored Intaglio Print of a Sleeping Nude
Item Details
A limited edition hand colored intaglio print. This depicts a sleeping nude, below a window through which roof tops of a European city is visible. It is numbered two out of an edition of 185. It is signed what appears to read ‘Oil Edelierp’ and ‘A. Mariah’ along the bottom, however no clear artist attribution could be made. This work is presented double matted in green and brown, under acrylic glass in a wooden frame.
Condition
- slight buckling of matting, joints of frame are exposed, pigment of ground layer matting seeping into print paper, minor scratches/abrasions on frame.
