A handwoven Pakistani ‘Tiara Collection’ wool rug. The rug features: a navy blue eight pointed medallion with a light beige and blue floral design in the center, an ivory field embellished with geometric vines and depictions of acanthus, and slightly darker spandrels featuring the same motifs. The wide rust tone border features a cloud band design with acanthus inside elongated hexagonal elements between the arms. The navy guard borders feature Hereti designs, and the narrower light blue guard borders have a repeating ‘Y’ motif. The longer edges are finished with ivory side cords and the shorter ends have white fringe. A maker’s tag is affixed to the underside.
